About therapy with
Tijuana Toledo, LCSW

I am an experienced, compassionate psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in clinical social work, and additional training and certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and Life Coaching. I am licensed in Florida and in New York.

Therapy is a safe space for you to share your experiences, even your most difficult experiences, and get tangible help in healing. Together we will work towards helping you thrive.

In order to heal you must face it. The steps to healing and recovery are unique to each individual

If you are hurting you don’t have to stay in pain! I am passionate about helping people heal. We will draw from all the tools that I have in my toolbox to help you heal, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused, Culturally Sensitive, Eclectic, Integrative, Mindfulness-Based Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered, Relational, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based, Trauma-Focused Therapy (TF-CBT), and Coaching. Each of us is different and we will tailor therapy to your needs.

Expect Therapy Focused on Your Needs and Practical Tools.

In therapy we will focus on building coping skills and practical tools that you can start applying right away to make your everyday life better.

Therapy is focused on the goals that are most important to you.

Core Values

Help for Teens and Adults

My clinical experience includes working with teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, parenting, building healthy relationships, low self-esteem, recovering after a loss, or ADD/ADHD. Many of my clients have experienced physical and/or emotional abuse. I have helped my clients find healing and hope as they journey to recovery. If you have experienced trauma, you may not recognize your full value. I help change that.

Expect Compassionate Therapy with no Judgment

Having experienced and overcome my own adversities has allowed me to meet clients where they are at with compassion. We all have a unique journey towards healing and becoming who we are truly meant to be. In therapy, I will be your partner on this healing journey.

In therapy together you will find me to be genuine, emphatic, caring, compassionate, and competent. We will work from a place where you can share your most difficult emotions and experiences towards tangible improvements that you can start experiencing in your life.
